A name or case number entered in a search tool goes to the outside provider that operates it. That provider processes the query and returns results. We do not retain or record those terms on our own systems.

Boone County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It points visitors toward Samuel R. Burns, Circuit Clerk, Boone County Magistrate Court, WVPASS, MCR, and other official custodians. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search tools. Submitted information is governed by the provider's privacy terms, retention practices, and sharing rules. We do not control them. Review that policy before running a query.

Links may lead to the West Virginia Judiciary, Boone County offices, WVPASS, MCR, legal-aid resources, or other services. The destination's privacy policy applies after a visitor leaves this website. Review it before sharing personal data.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across sites or select targeted ads. That processing does not occur on systems controlled by us.

Rights differ by location and applicable law. West Virginia Code ยง51-4-2 and Trial Court Rule 10.04 govern official court records held by court custodians; they do not make this private website a Boone County records custodian. For personal information held by us, a visitor may:
